260208 we celebrated our first year! =)

cos it was only 1 and a half week from our vday celebration, we decided we should cut costs for this. thus, came my idea to cook us a scrumptious meal and dine at his place. and he's in charge of cleaning and packing his room and find us a temporary table for our dinner.

the day before, we headed down to cold storage and ntuc to hunt for the items i need and made an effort to get the cheaper one of the 2 places.

the day itself, i woke up at 1pm and started cooking till 3plus. it was pretty tiring, and jianwei was suppose to come pick me up and help carry the food over to his place at 4pm. so i barely had enough time to get changed. and when he reached at 3.50 pm, i was still doing the last bit of my beef. i was perspiring and looking darn auntified while he surprised me by finally cutting his hair, and turning up in the same set of clothes he wore on the night when i first met him; with bubble tea and flowers. =)

the following 2 pictures were how he look when he got to my house, but i only had the chance of taking the picture at his house cos i was rushing to shower and dress up.

we got to his place and he had a make shift table set up with lighted candles.

he conveniently decorated the table beside our table with this board of collage i did for him for our 2nd month. -_-. and you know why? his pile of junk is hidden innocently underneath the board.

then: it's been 2 months of love and peace OR ELSE!

now: it's been a year of do what i say OR ELSE! MAHA.

i made blended mushroom soup and toasted ready-made tomato bread thing which i forgot the name.

and i cooked basil base pasta cos he doesnt like tomato base and i'm a little sick of cooking cream base all the time. and i got to try cooking steak. i think it's pretty good for the first attempt.

and after dinner we just lie in bed and watch juno on quicksilverscreen.com. haha. how eventful right. but we were both very tired after all that preparation lah.

shucks. i kinda hate posting food pictures. makes me darn hungry after that. =p'''
