today was early 'celebration' for my bro's birthday, which is supposedly next week. but cos that cockroach eyebrows fella has to land in tekong island tomorrow, all family members were called home early to 'celebrate' for him; which only involves sticking candles on a cake, singing a weak birthday song and globbering up the cake.

seriously, i cant wait to see how my brother will look like when he's botak with his pair of la pi xiao xin eyebrows becoming more prominent than ever.

ah well, i'll hafta see the photos then, cos tomorrow i'm going BATAM!!! YAYS!

anyway, so we were cutting the cake and my dad was hovering around. and somehow it was pretty obvious this time, he couldnt wait for the birthday song to be done and cake to be cut, for a different reason than usual. ok, so usually he doesnt get much involved in singing birthday songs, etc cos he is...not that much of an expressive kinda person. so usually he will just sit around impatiently while we sing and then go back to what he was doing. today, he stood eagerly around, and once the song was done, he started picking out the strawberries on the cake like my 5 year old cousin!

and when he left after finishing the second last piece of strawberry, my mom laughingly explained in whispers, "that time jianwei bought that box of strawberries for you, he took the whole box to eat while watching tv. and all of a sudden say 'siao liao, left 1 last one how?' and has since like strawberries."

i was pretty darn funny picturing my dad in that scenario, especially cos he knows those strawberries were from jianwei and he doesnt have much liking for jianwei. or any of my boyfriend for that matter. which reminds me of something else...

i was telling my mom how some single mother will pamper their children so much, feed them till they're really fat so the children cant find husband/wife next time so they'll forever stay by their side... as in the case of my aunt and her daughter. and then my dad chipped in, "tomorrow onwards cook more food, let my 2 daughters eat more and get really fat so they also cant marry!"

HAHA!

and anyway, back to the cake, after awhile, my dad came back for second helping of the cake and when he saw no one has touched the last strawberry, he plucked it out and handed it to me! =)))

my aunts always tell me my dad favours me most. sometimes i feel otherwise cos of how much more lovable my youngest sister seems to him. of cos i have never forgotten i'm the only one whom he pampers in monetary terms...

'i want that blue bin! so pretty!!' my mom went, 'cannot. $20 for a stupid bin. put it back!' my dad brought to the counter to pay.
'i need new clothes for cny...i need money.' my mom went, 'you every month also cny. no need buy already so much clothes buy buy buy!' my dad passed me $300 and asked if it's enough.
'eh wo yao he pao pao cha.' my mom went, 'pao pao pao ni de tou! so expensive cannot!' my dad asked me where can buy and bought it for me.

of cos i'm not saying my mom doesnt favour me. she surprised everyone(mostly my friends) by allowing me to go batam trip with jianwei, and conspired with me to tell my dad i went for chalet with girlfriends. but she had to say...

'i tell you ah, i let you go you dont go and do stupid things there ah!' (referring to having sex with jianwei.)
i said, 'please la. want to do stupid things singapore can also do why must go batam! you think everyone really go batam and bangkok to have sex ah!'
'haha. anyway, you so fat, you better not take off your clothes and show jianwei else he sure dump you!'

what the fuck?? lols.

oh wells, I'M SO EXCITED BOUT THE TRIP!!!! =))) i know it's just batam, but i've been wanting a short getaway trip since like forever lah. ok, so since early this year when my mom found out my passport was missing from her drawer and demanded for it and, yelled at me like a cowabunga! for going m'sia and batam so often, last year, without her knowledge. teehee.

alright, time to build up energy for the trip! byebye! oh oh. dont msg me while i'm there, no auto roam, starhub doesnt reserve msges, fuck! so i wont be able to see them. if it's urgent, find cassan or eepei who has jianwei's no.! thanks girls, in advance. =)
